poem \"Sunrise\"

Sunrise --11.04.02 Monday--
A flash across the midnight light,
Changing everything to white;
Laughter bubbles up inside,
Feelings felt are so hard to hide.

White is quickly replaced by red,
Scatters night away to bed;
Loneliness replaced by feelings of love,
Confidence soars way above.

Pink crimson streaks across the sky,
Chasing away any thoughts of why;
Orange quickly leads the way,
Bursting in a brand new day.

Purple follows all the rest,
Bringing forth a brand new test;
A brand new chance to make him see,
Exactly what he means to me.

Blue shining skies top it off,
Melting off the morning frost;
Friendship burns in life's warm fire,
Hopes and dreams will soon conspire.

Sun rocks the daylight skies,
Lighting everything it spies;
A crush continues on full swing,
Until hearts' voice doth ring.
