poem \"Defeat\"

Defeat --06.01.05 Wednesday--
Raging within,
She covers her eyes;
Blocking out the strangled cries.
(Sounding so very familiar,
They are her own.)
Closing in,
They torture her soul;
Wrathfully keeping her sequestered.
Grasping her legs,
She struggles to move;
Shoved deep under their lastic* brood;
Wiggling,
Covered completely:
The girl struggles to free herself;
Swimming in their lies,
feeling lost;
submerged beneath;
she averts her gaze.
crying out in pain to breathe,
She loses herself completely;
Struggling in their lies,
Giving in to boredom's wrath,
Her tortured soul dies;
Alone,
(at last;)
she cries.
