poem "Strength"

Strength --2001--

Rainstorms fell from my skies
"No more's" hung in my eyes
When I thought I'd give up, for sure
You were there showing me the open door.

When I couldn't carry on...
You gave me the strength,
You brought me the dawn.
You showed me life still carried on,
And helped me to keep going strong.
