poem \"Night\"
Night --10. 09.05 Sunday--
Lights dot the horizon,
Glowing in the dark;
Obscured by distant clouds,
So many things lost in the night.
Shapeless shadows robbed of sight,
Left searching in the silent hours;
Cast astray by those once thought as loved;
Once sent wandering aimless miles,
alone and untouched.
Lights dot the horizon,
Glowing in the dark;
Guiding those once cast astray;
Leading forth those lost to plight.
Masks of greys and masks of black,
Cover faces once flushed with love;
Hiding underneath years of pain,
As left wandering aimlessly;
The dark takes control,
veiled and silenced;
numb and cold;
Once cast wandering aimless miles;
alone and untouched.
Lights dot the horizon,
Glowing in the dark;
Hindered to a path of nowhere,
Left wandering aimless miles;
Shapeless shadows robbed of sight,
Cast astray by those once thought as loved.
