poem "I Do... But I Don't"

I Do... But I Don't --September 2001--

I do like you,
For the way you make me feel.
But I don't like you,
For the way you act around your buds is so unreal.
I do like you,
For all the time we've had.
But I don't like you,
For the words you use around your buds are so VERY bad.
I do like you,
For all the talks on the bus,
But I don't like you,
For every other word you say you cuss.
I do like you,
And our friendship we had was golden.
But I don't like you,
And our friendship has been stolen.
And I do like you,
And hope you feel the same.
