poem \"Ravenous Lies\"

Ravenous Lies --02.09.06 Thursday--
starving herself
one day at a time;
all the while pretending,
everything's just fine;
beyond the truth,
just stuck in the lies;
can't see the faults,
can't learn to cry.
taught herself,
there's truth in the fog;
the deception's just fine,
the facts well-hidden;
no one will know,
or care,
or seek;
in the end,
she's alone;
day after day,
week after weak.
starving herself
one day at a time;
just wishing to find
the truth between;
stuck in the lies
of her muddied dreams.
