poem \"Untitled-- Jan. 28th, 2003\"

Untitled --01.28.03 Tuesday--
Twice as nice and cold as fire;
Intense emotions will soon conspire;
Hopes and dreams once were forgotten;
But truth was seen, and with it hopes and dreams.
Anger and hate have eaten up inside;
However intense a fire still burns inside;
Putting out the anger and coming to terms with the fire;
May lead to brighter skies and may hopes conspire.
Friends all surround, though none can see;
Exactly how much hurt and pain is trapped inside of we.
You gave me understanding and in you I planted this seed;
Showed me hoping was believing and I taught you writing was a need.
Together we can be stronger,
Though apart we are alone;
Friendship keeps us stronger and hoping for our own distant goals.
